Concert to the 170th anniversary of Antonín Dvořák’s birth at České muzeum hudby

Movements Vivace ma non troppo, Adagio a Allegro molto moderato from  Sonata for Violin and Piano No.1 in G Major, Op.78 by Johannes Brahms were the opening pieces played by So Jin Kim with the piano accompaniment of Martin Levický. They were followed by Melodies fell into my soul, Ev’ning bells ring, Summer song, Out of the woods from In Nature’s Realm by Antonín Dvořák. Petra Popelková appeared in the solo part in Song to the moon by Antonín Dvořák and Martin Ledvický excelled at The Lancer from the Czech Dances by Bedřich Smetana. At the end of the performance the choir added a selection from Moravian Duets by Antonín Dvořák including Blithely towards the field, Down a dove flew and  Keen will be the edge of yonder scythe-blade.
