Spring Concert at České muzeum hudby , 19.6.2012
The Spring concert at České muzeum hudby was extremely impressive. Sfogava con le stelle by Claudio Monteverdi as an introduction was followed by folk songs with arrangement of J.Krček and Leoš Janáček.
in The Openings of the Wells by Bohuslav Martinů the gracious reading of Alfred Strejcek, the crystal-clear voices of the soiloists and the performance of guest instrumentalists added greatly to the excellent performance of the choir.
The last part of the concert was dedicated to one of the most distinctive composers of modern Czech music Zdeněk Lukáš and his monumental triptychTribute to its creators.
